I almost gave in
I almost lost
This day almost got to me
Into the air my hands
I tossed
Almost walked away
Almost cried
Almost threw caution into the wind
Happiness for myself
I almost denied
Almost .
Then .
I heard a whisper
into my ear …..
“Don’t you ever give up
I’m right here”
I felt a brush of love
against my face
Wings wrapped around me
in a warm embrace
At that point I knew …..
Because I was shown
I was not here with my battles
all alone
Life is not handed to us
on a silver platter
It can get tough
Actually many things are
hard to accomplish for that matter
I’m no where near perfection….
But, an angel gave me a little nudge
in the right direction
So, my friend
this is what I’m going to do
Because she helped me
work my day through
I’m going to send her on ……
Right to you!
And after she helps you with your day
Send her on to someone else
without delay …..
